Long-Form Gaming Stream Highlights Montage Editing
Pain Points (Public)
Livestreamers generate massive volumes of unedited broadcast footage—often 20+ hours per week—that bury comedic banter, clutch kills, and viral moments under hours of downtime. Even with logged timestamp notes, creators lack the dedicated NLE timeline bandwidth to trim, audio-balance, and structure long-form VODs into high-retention 10–15 minute showcase videos.
Suggested Approach (Public)
Ingest raw multi-track livestream VODs and creator timestamps into NLE suites like DaVinci Resolve or Premiere Pro to distill dozens of footage hours into a cohesive 10–15 minute highlight reel, complete with comedic beat timing, subtitle typography, audio ducking, and punchy visual zoom-ins.

Opportunity assessment PRO
Development brief PRO
- Position as a specialized productized editing service for creators with timestamp logs in Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve rather than building a fully automated standalone SaaS.
- Build a lightweight Premiere Pro / DaVinci Resolve XML/EDL marker generator that parses raw text timestamps from 20+ hour VOD notes into timeline cut points.
